I have to inform about my withdrawal from the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NSJU), which I have been for 17 years. The only problem is that the current leadership of the CNMU in the person of C. Tomilenko, assuming the responsibility to broadcast on behalf of all the members of the CNMU, is essentially practicing double standards, playing against the information security of Ukraine. During the period of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the current leadership of the NCJU made this structure the "lawyer" of anti-Ukrainian publications, also drawing it into Russian media projects, seriously strengthening the positions of the aggressor in the media space, continuing this activity today. At the same time completely ignoring the persecution of patriotic media resources of Ukraine, including the journalists of the "Information Resistance" group, from Ukrainian officials and pro-Russian forces. One of the most blatant facts is the participation of the CNMU in the project "Two countries - one profession" for "finding common ground" between Ukrainian and Russian journalists, presented as an "OSCE project", although in fact conducted by MediaCongress "Commonwealth of Journalists" headed by the Secretary of the Union of Journalists Russia (WJR). Also in the track record of the NSJU leadership are direct and absolutely inadequate attacks on Ukrainian patriotic resources that perform important functions to repel Russian information aggression.

At the same time, with complete disregard for the persecution of these same resources, as well as the publication by pro-Russian and Russian media of the personal data of Ukrainian journalists. And the last drop is the current claims of the head of the CNNU to the Ukrainian special services and law enforcement agencies in the context of their attempts to deal with the criminal activities of the anti-Ukrainian resource "Country. Ua ». In this regard, I do not see it possible to continue to stay in the NSJU. Original.
