Russian musician, singer, composer Alexei Lebedinsky ("Professor Lebedinsky") said that Russian emigrants in the US are living a strange way for Americans.
This Lebedinsky told in an interview with "Apostrophe".
"Therefore, there (in the USA, - Ed.. ) Russian speakers surprise Russian speakers, because there is no one more to amaze their pontami. It looks very funny, all these Rolls-Roys, all these chains, as in the early 90's.
I have not even seen this in Russia for a long time, as in Miami, "he said..
The musician stressed that this created a negative image of Russian emigrants in the US.
"Disgusted and ashamed of them. Because no one wants to deal with them, and the first advice you will hear when you come to America is "do not mess with the Russians," Lebedinsky said..
At the same time, he added that few Americans know who Ukrainians are, because for them all people from the post-Soviet space are Russian.
