In Kamensk-Uralsky, an individual entrepreneur will appear before the court, accused of operating a sauna in violation of security requirements, causing the death of two local residents.

Investigation department of the city of Kamensk-Uralsky SK of Russia in Sverdlovsk region completed the investigation of the criminal case against a 34-year-old individual entrepreneur. He is accused of committing a crime under part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rendering services that do not meet the safety or health requirements of consumers, resulting in the death of two persons by negligence).

According to the investigation, an individual entrepreneur organized a sauna in a non-residential premises along Belinsky Street in Kamensk-Uralsky, where he allowed the operation of electrical equipment and electrical wiring in a steam room with violations of fire safety requirements. December 4, 2016 in the sauna steam room there was a fire. At this time there were two visitors. As a result of the fire, a 32-year-old woman died at the scene of acute carbon monoxide poisoning. The 41-year-old man received multiple thermal burns of the body and respiratory tract, from which he died on December 7, 2016 in the hospital.

During the investigation, the accused fully admitted his guilt and filed an application to consider a criminal case against him in a special order, without examining all the evidence on the merits in court. The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the Krasnogorsk District Court of the city of Kamensk-Uralsky for examination on the merits.
