Sverdlovsk Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office verified observance of water legislation in the activities of JSC "Aquatech". It turned out that the company discharges pollutants with sewage into the Olkhovka River with exceeding the established standards for permissible discharges.

According to the protocols of laboratory studies, in May 2017 the permissible concentration of phosphates was exceeded by 13.4 times, in April - by 16.5 times. At the same time, the enterprise did not pay the duty for negative environmental impact for 2016 in the time prescribed by law.

The prosecutor's office fined the legal entity 80 thousand rubles, the official - 6 thousand rubles. In addition, the prosecutor's office sent a statement of claim to the court on assigning the obligation to JSC "Aquatech" to ensure the normative degree of wastewater treatment that is under consideration. After the introduction of acts of prosecutorial response, the company purchased equipment worth 3 million rubles, providing ultraviolet disinfection of waste water.
