Since August 1, school fairs are opening in Kiev. The enterprises of light industry of the capital, manufacturers of school goods from other regions of Ukraine, distributors and trading enterprises. This is stated in the order of the Kyiv City State Administration No. 922. From August 1 to September 10 from 09:00 to 18:00 school fairs will be held in all districts of Kiev. The citywide fair will be held on August 12 and 13 from 09:00 to 18:00 on the street. Khreshchatyk (odd side, the lower pavement from the central exit from the metro station Khreshchatyk to Bessarabskaya Square). During the school fair on August 12 from 13:00 to 15:00 children's groups of folk art will perform. The organizer of school fairs is KP "City Shop" in conjunction with the relevant district state administrations.

Meanwhile, the Moscow authorities banned the holding of agricultural fairs that took place on the streets in Kiev on weekends. "In connection with the increase in air temperature and with the aim of preventing outbreaks of acute intestinal infections, food poisoning among consumers, the capital decided to stop holding fairs from August 1 to August 6," it was reported..
