A series of serious drug crimes was prevented by the employees of the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Verkhnesaldinsky", detaining two local residents suspected of illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a particularly large scale, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sverdlovsk region.

During the two days of the detectives, a complex of operational and search activities was carried out, as a result of which a person was established on the territory of the city of Nizhnyaya Salda who carried out the illegal sale of the narcotic drug - carfentanil, also "synthetic heroin", in a particularly large amount. Of the illegal trafficking, 69 packets of narcotic drugs were taken for sale.

In the course of further work, the police detained the supplier with another consignment of drugs, also intended for sale in the Upper and Lower Salda. The mass of the substance was 49.6 grams.

"These people were in development for the investigators almost a month. First we went to the distributor, later we established a distributor, - said the head of the MoD of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, "Verkhnesaldinsky" police colonel Pavel Paitsev.

"This is another serious detention for our cities, along with the liquidation of one narcotic online store in late 2016 and the detention of the" pawnbrokers "of another similar enterprise selling banned substances, which was later liquidated by the guards of the Nizhny Tagil order in cooperation with Verkhne-Salda policemen in March 2017 ».

In relation to the defendants a criminal case was instituted in accordance with part 5 of Article 228. 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illicit sale of narcotic drugs in a particularly large amount". The crime provides for liability up to life imprisonment.

Note that narcotic drug carfentanil is a synthetic analogue of heroin, but in terms of impact is much more powerful, which increases the danger of this drug.
