Since the beginning of the war in the East of Ukraine, in many cities, activists have "broken" tent cities and points in which they collected constant assistance to fighters at the front.

Now almost all these items were "collapsed" or switched to "online mode". But the tent on Liberty Square is still open.

Tent in Kharkov has been working since autumn 2014. Vladimir and 10 other activists are engaged in shifts in her security. They say that there used to be a lot more people willing to help them, writes 057.

Now people who bring help to them for fighters of the ATU zone are much less. Also, there are volunteers who, along with them, weave mesh for fighters.

The tent was twice tried to burn, but in both cases it was possible to extinguish the fire in time.

"Kharkov is not like everyone else, it is under constant pressure. Comes to us separatists promised to shoot if you do not remove the tent "- says activist.

For a long time, activists created stands where photos were posted, how all the help was sent to ATU fighters, photos of those killed during the terrorist attack near the Sports Palace and evidence of involvement in this Russian Federation.

Beside the military ATS support stands there is a used projectile from the Grad installation. He was brought from Donbass. This is only a small part of it, the shell itself is 6 meters in size.

Also there are shells from Gorlovka and Maryinka. All this they are trying every day to remind the deputies that the soldiers need help.

Since 2016 on the site of the Kharkov Administration weighs a petition: Kharkovites offer to move the tent from the city center to the outskirts. But the tent continues to stand on the central square of Kharkov.

Activists say the tent is one of the centers of volunteerism, and they will remove it only when the country ends the war.
