The issues of professional adaptation of soldiers were discussed during a working meeting organized by the Department of Social Protection of the Population of KHOGA on July 26.

The event was attended by specialists from social protection agencies, employment services, the State Service for War Veterans and ATO participants, representatives of public veteran organizations. In particular, the parties discussed and agreed on joint actions for the implementation of the new Order of the organization of social and professional adaptation of ATU participants (Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution of 21. 06. 2017 No. 432).

According to Tatyana Pechura, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the HOGA, the issue of the successful adaptation of demobilized participants of the ATU to peaceful life, in particular their professional adaptation, is a priority task of the authorities.

"Today, the cooperation of the social protection agencies with the military commissariats and the employment service has been established in the region to conduct awareness-raising, consultative and career-oriented work with the ATU participants on the possibility of their social and professional adaptation. In 2017, such events covered 6,700. Participants of the ATO, 346 expressed a desire to undergo profadaptation, "Tatyana Pechura.

She also cited data according to which, in the framework of the corresponding budget program, since the beginning of the year, the social protection bodies of the region sent 186 ATU participants for vocational training. For training will be used 867.3 thousand. UAH.

The participants of the meeting noted that the new procedure for profadaptation improved the procedure and settled a number of technical issues, in particular, it stipulates the obligatory passage of the applicant's vocational guidance in the employment service.
