Enhanced protection of public safety on the temple mountain will remain. Only metal detectors will replace video cameras. This is reported by Haaretz. At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the decision was approved to allocate 100 million shekels to the police and the Israeli Ministry of Public Security in order to create a new security system.

Protests of Muslims began after the police prohibited Muslim men to 50 years of age to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. As a result of this, the conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis broke out, which led to human casualties: three Palestinians were killed, about 400 people were injured, some of them are still in critical condition.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the UN Security Council will meet because of the situation in Israel.
