According to the press service of the Odessa State Ecological University, whose scientists conducted a regular monthly hydrological survey of the state of the Odessa Gulf, Kuyalnik estuary and its tributaries, the water flow of the Bolshaya Kuyalnik River is 49 liters per second.

Thus, every day with the flow of the river into the estuary, 4.234 thousand cubic meters of water fall, and in a month 131 thousand cubic meters are accumulated. At the same time, experts assured that there are no peelings of gypsum on the bottom of the estuary, there is a lot of live brine shrimp in the estuary water, and on the coast of the estuary there is a great variety and abundance of birds.

Scientists continue to study the samples selected in the expedition on the basis of the laboratory of the Scientific and Expert Center for Environmental Monitoring of the University, - the ministry assured.
