The government of the Russian Federation has amended the rules of the road, the official website of the government. The regulations introduced new road signs: "Restricted zone for the ecological class of motor vehicles", "Restricted zone for ecological class of trucks", additional information sign "Ecological class of a vehicle".

According to the changes, now the cyclists are allowed to move along the sidewalk or the footpath in case of an adult accompanying a bicyclist under the age of 14.
