The investigator and the detective of one of the units of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region were caught on a bribe. As reported by the press service of the SBU, the attackers demanded from an inhabitant of Odessa 2,5 thousand dollars.

For this money, bribe-takers promised a re-qualification of a criminal case against him for an article that does not provide for deprivation of liberty.

At the same time, for failure to pay officials threatened them for a period of three to seven years.

Attackers were detained near the place of work while they received the full amount of undue profits. The police opened a criminal case on the production of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Bribery.
