On July 5, several hundred Kharkiv citizens took part in the procession from the Annunciation Cathedral to the Holy Intercession Monastery. This is reported by NewsRoom.
The procession of priests and believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was dedicated to the memory of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and the 1029th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
For the time of its holding in the center of Kharkov temporarily blocked traffic and changed the routes of 14 buses and one trolleybus.
This year the procession was treated without any provocations, as well as prohibited symbols. Recall that in July last year in the center of Kharkov was also held "a procession for peace". Then among the participants of the procession, people were seen with St. George ribbons, and also with badges with a portrait of Tsar Nicholas II.
