The capital police detained a bank robber who committed more than 30 robberies. He left on the crime scene the chocolates for the cashiers, and part of the stolen, he said, was spent on charity. This was during a briefing, said the head of police in Kiev, Andrei Krishchenko, said 112 Ukraine.
He noted that the police were looking for an attacker for 1.5 years.
The robber was a man born in 1967, who was already brought to criminal liability in the early 80's. He worked in advertising, traveled abroad, but left the business.
According to Krishchenko, the attacker confessed to committing more than 30 crimes in various cities of Ukraine.
"At this time we reasonably prove the commission of 14 robberies during 10 years, on which evidence is collected and on which, after carrying out the first investigative actions, the criminal will be informed of suspicion," said the head of the Metropolitan Police.
Krishchenko noted that during the interrogation the robber stated that he had "expropriated and robbed the loot". He also claims that he spent part of the money on charity.
The attacker was taken out of the gun with signs of processing.
