Well-known Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov, who was banned from entering Ukraine for five years, published a letter that came to him from the Crimea.
Below is his text.
"Why do you think there are no Sberbank in the Crimea, Russian Railways, Rosneft refueling stations, Gazprom? Why do we not have a "Post of Russia", but there is a "Post of the Crimea" (complete, sorry, n ... q)? I understand that these state companies or their bosses have a lot of money in the same States and are terribly afraid that they will be blocked. But why did not Aeroflot, S7, become frightened? At that, that the degree of "statehood" in them is sometimes lower? I understand that they had something to answer in case of sanctions (they would block Russian air corridors in response or something like this). Please tell me, what do you think about this?.
In just a year and a half there will be a 5-year anniversary of the return of the Crimea, and then how terrible it was, it became even worse. I myself am constantly hanging out in St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and I understand the whole difference. Even the vaunted roads are worse than Ukrainian ones. They just fall apart at once ... I do not want to believe in bullshit like "Moscow was not built right away". Ilya, yes for such babki it is possible not that that "at once", it is possible "yesterday". I think you agree with me, I read your posts about the Crimea. It's just that you need to change / plant the "winners team".
Everyone "drowned for Russia" (by the way, I'm not one of them, I'm neutral), and today everyone is gradually losing a fierce breakdown. Why are we being sanctioned by US sanctions in Russia? Why VPN need to use, so that you do not ignore the RUSSIAN bank, let you have a dollar account in it? Why do we have no mobile operators, who, damn, are allowed to work in the public at the legislative level not to work in the Crimea, if they do not want it?
Maybe, then should not the Crimea be part of the Russian Federation, since the Russian Federation does not want it inside itself?.
We somehow have to cope with this hypocrisy. So it is impossible, because we are not second-rate people. And with Ukrainian biometrics, all these thoughts, like "with the crests were better", are gaining new supporters.
I am sure that thousands of your Crimean readers will be sincerely grateful to you if you raise publicly the discussion of this nightmarish life injustice towards ordinary citizens ".
