Ural agrarians are preparing for the harvest campaign, which will take place in the conditions of constant downpours and lack of heat. This was told by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Minister Sergey Sharapov.

According to the official, the sowing campaign ended with a plan overfulfilment despite the rain. Preparations are now under way for the harvesting stage.

"The main task is to adjust our plans in accordance with the rains and temperatures of this summer, and also prepare the equipment and drivers for work in similar weather conditions. By harvesting figures are even higher than last year's. If in 2016 from one hectare 50-60 centners of a crop were removed, this summer - on 100 centners ", - speaks Sergey Sharapov.

Head of the Department of Agrometeorology of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Ural State Hydrometeorological Service "Lyudmila Savarinyuk urged the residents of the Sverdlovsk Region not to worry about the harvest - the agrarians are used to difficult working conditions.
