As the press service of the Security Service informs, the police conducts investigative actions in the framework of open criminal cases on the theft of budget funds worth more than five million hryvnia.

The money was provided for the construction and reconstruction of the educational and cultural facilities of the city. Today, the SBU conducted searches in the city council building and found evidence of the involvement of officials in the system appropriation of budget funds on a particularly large scale, the ministry said, adding that the searches were conducted in the office of one of the heads of the apparatus of the Kherson city council.
