On Wednesday, June 28, the exhibition "Carl Faberge and Alexey Denisov-Uralsky", which was opened in the Museum of Stone-cutting and Jewelry Art on June 8, was visited by the children of the Talisman Rehabilitation Center, as well as children from the Center for Social Assistance to Family and Children of the Chkalovsky District and Center "Otrada".
A special delight of young visitors, many of whom came with their parents, caused the legendary Easter egg from Karl Faberge. The tour lasted about an hour, after which the children received from the St Catherine's Fund small sweet gifts and festive balls.
"It is very important for us that the exhibition is watched by children. After all, this is not just an exhibition of jewelry art, it is primarily our history, our heritage, "- said the director of the Foundation of St. Catherine Alexander Andreev.
As noted in the museum, the exhibition "Karl Faberge and Alexei Denisov-Uralsky" caused an unprecedented stir among residents and guests of the Ural capital, comparable to 2009, when the collection of the Hermitage "The precious filigree of the East XVII-XIX centuries.
According to the director of the museum Nadezhda Pakhomova, among those who wanted to get acquainted with the art of great jewelers were guests from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Tagil, Tuva, as well as connoisseurs from France and Bulgaria.
On June 26, the exhibition was visited by the great-grandson of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Alexander III, the grandson of His Imperial Majesty the Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, the Honourary Member of the Romanov Family Pavel Eduardovich Kulikovsky with his wife.
