According to Tillerson, Ukraine does not fully comply with the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking in persons. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian government is making considerable efforts to do this.
For example, the authorities of the Ukrainian country intensified efforts to combat human trafficking in comparison with the previous reporting period. Thus, Ukraine was raised to the second level.
By the way, the report identifies three levels of countries, where the first level indicates countries with high achievements in combating human trafficking, and the third level - with low levels in this area.
In turn, between the second and third is also a conditional intermediate level, indicating a country that can descend to the worst state. So, from 2013 to 2016, Ukraine was at this intermediate level.
Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", in Romania, detained 35 suspects in the case of human trafficking.
