On the central regions of Ukraine on 26 and 27 June, a real storm collapsed, which fell trees, tore roofs off houses, and also left lightless a number of settlements. The victim of the weather became an 18-year-old girl.

This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"In the period from 26 to 27 June as a result of worsening weather conditions (rain, gusts of wind), 147 trees were felled, 66 roofs of residential buildings and 2 social and household facilities were damaged in Kyiv, Khmelnitsky and Cherkassy regions," the statement said..

As it became known, in the Kiev region a storm knocked about 80 trees, also the wind tore roofs on 66 private houses.

On Kiev, an abnormal shower broke with the strongest gusts of wind. Local residents managed to baptize the storm "the end of the world" and put a terrible video of the weather.

In the city of Kamenetz-Podolsky, in the Khmelnitsky region, the wind knocked about 70 trees. Downpour turned the roads into rivers, and Novoplanovskiy bridge into a real waterfall.

In the Cherkassy region, the wind knocked 18 trees, as a result of the incident, an 18-year-old girl was killed.

Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky and Cherkassy regions were partially de-energized. Total without lights there are 86 settlements.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier in Chernivtsi, as a result of heavy rain, which began on the evening of June 7, the central streets of the city were flooded, as well as the railway station.
