The company Ecolines promises not to repeat cases of non-admission on flights of passengers with biometric passports, and victims are promised compensation for the trip.

This is stated in the official communication with the apology that the carrier posted on his Facebook page.

The behavior of executives in the company is justified by the fact that the visa-free regime only recently entered into force, and each worker is afraid of the inevitable fines for passengers who travel with insufficient package of documents.

"The company in no way intended to prevent citizens of Ukraine from using the Visa-free regime, which we had been waiting together for so long. In order to avoid such cases in the future, the company will be strengthened by training and instructing guides on documents that allow crossing the border within the framework of the Visa Waiver Regime, "the message says..

The company hopes for understanding and believes that the case will draw public attention to such problems as the constant and many-hour delay at the borders, as well as the lack of a clear information campaign about the rules of crossing the border.

"The company Ecolines apologizes to all our passengers, in particular the family - Sergei, Irina, Alexandra and Darya, who could not take advantage of the trip. Now we are trying to contact to discuss the provision of compensation for an unused trip, "- added to Ecolines.

As reported by the "Observer", a scandal erupted over the network because Ecolines refused to take passengers on visa-free travel.
