In Alapaevsk, a new morgue was built and put into operation, which the municipality was waiting for almost 21 years. According to the Alapaev city hospital, the building is built by modular technology, it is unique for the Sverdlovsk region and will serve Alapaevsk and Alapaevsky district, as well as the town of Makhnevo.

The existing morgue at the Alapaev hospital did not cope with the load. The building was dilapidated and no longer corresponded to sanitary norms. If the morgue was closed, the dead would have to be transported for 70 km - to Artemovsky.

Funds for the implementation of the project could not be found for years, so the authorities decided to build a modular mortuary, which is much cheaper.

"In order to get funding for the Ministry of Health, it was necessary to make a lot of efforts to the amount of 15 million rubles appeared in the regional budget," - noted in the hospital.

The office will start functioning in the regular mode from the next week.
