At the same time, forecasters note that torrential rains are caused by the ongoing atmospheric front that accompanies the "plum rain" season in Japan, the offensive of which was noted last week. Weather forecasters expect that in a number of areas, up to 400 millimeters of precipitation a day may drop out. Especial danger of showers is for residents whose houses are located next to the river bed, as well as in the mountainous area because of the threat of landslides.
