According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, during two months of this year the military prosecutor's office monitored and documented the fact of extortion and obtaining undue benefits. The inspector received four thousand dollars and promised to influence officials of the Gorodok police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Khmelnitsky region regarding the closure of the criminal case.

Against the detainee is opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Obtaining undue benefits, combined with extortion. Now the question is being resolved on the election of a measure of restraint in the form of custody and removal from office.
