Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya has long been a household name. Its history can hardly be called a myth - there is almost complete truth and one ma-a-scarlet, but a key lie that instantly turns the whole story into a myth and heroism into a crime, writes Yuri Gudymenko for TSN.

So, about the truth. Just the facts. Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya (do not pay attention to "Cosmo": the surname originated from the name of the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian, and has no relation to the cosmos) was born in Tambov Region. Her grandfather, the priest, was tortured and drowned in the pond by the Communists, and after the final approval of the Bolshevik authorities, the entire remaining family was forced to move to Siberia (whether they were exiled or escaped from the denunciation - it is unclear, but not at will).

Despite the fact that a person who grew up in such a family, logically, should have looked at the Communists as a soldier for a louse, everything turned out just the opposite. Thanks to the enchanting power of propaganda that traveled back and forth through the untrodden youthful brains, Zoya grew up as a fierce, rabid Bolshevik, joined the Komsomol and quarreled with all her classmates after the doomed attempt of our heroine to outweigh the class's obligation to teach illiterate people in their free time. Classmates, before whom the non-illusory prospect of spending youth on the training of some pigs instead of such a sweetheart of nothing so sweet to their hearts, mixed with football and drunkenness mixed with a petting, Zoya was not understood and quickly hijacked, against which our heroine began to develop a nervous disease.

But then "exactly at four o'clock" the Germans attacked the USSR, and Zoya with a nervous illness under her arm decided to take a responsible step: she decided to become a suicide bomber. In October 1941, Zoya, along with a couple of thousands of other komkomol members, the kamikaze, came to the gathering place of the "suicide squad", becoming the fighter of the reconnaissance and sabotage unit.

Recruits, young men and women, were honestly warned that they will not live much, and, most likely, bad, since the expected level of losses by the intelligence-sabotage groups was 95% (and in fact it turned out to be almost 100%, because everyone knows that the plans Leadership is certainly more optimistic than real ones).

So, after a long, multi-faceted and complex training, which lasted for three days, Zoya and her friends successfully mined the bridge and got a more responsible job, which we will talk about below, but for now we will get acquainted with its results. The results, in principle, were expected, since 95% of the losses in the minds of the authorities took place not in an empty place: juvenile and malotocious saboteurs with three days of training behind their backs, were each captured by German soldiers and executed, and Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was handed over to the Germans by the Soviet peasant.

Zoya was tortured for a long time and finally hanged, and before the death the girl pushed a speech about Stalin, the Soviet Union and the inevitable victory of communism (after the debunking of the personality cult under Khrushchev, Zoya's dying speech changed radically and it turned out that she did not talk about Stalin, then, under Brezhnev, Again started, well, and then everyone was already spit).

At the time of death, Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya was 18 years old. Her name was quickly erected in the cult. The article in Pravda. Another article. Title of Hero of the Soviet Union (posthumously). Order of Lenin (also posthumously). Monuments. Busts. Memory evenings. Streets named after. Museums ... ... And now - a little bit about the task, in which, in fact, Kosmodemyanskaya was killed and hundreds of young men and women from Soviet "suicide squads". The task was based on the fulfillment of the order of the Supreme Headquarters Supreme Command (read - Stalin personally, his signature-under the order) from 17. eleven. 1941 № 428. This is one of the most cruel, stupid and bloodthirsty documents in the history of the USSR. By this order, Stalin demanded the destruction of all populated areas left on the German-occupied territory close to the front.

Again. Stalin ordered "to destroy and burn down all settlements in the rear of the German troops at a distance of 40-60 km in depth from the front edge and 20-30 km to the right and left of the road". Under this order, thousands of villages. The front was wide, there were many villages, people in the occupied territories were left millions.

In the approach of winter - the order is dated November. Knowing that for the peasants a burnt house would mean a hungry and painful death. Knowing that especially Germans will not stop this and will not detain. Equating human life to the life of the fly-fly-by-day both in value and in life ... Order No. 428, you, please, find and read yourself. He's short. But this is important. And it was this order, obviously bastard, obviously criminal, was performed by Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya. Her group, with broken pistols, half a liter of vodka per person (not to build bonfires on cold nights) and Molotov cocktails had to burn ten villages in the suburbs.

It was caught after burning arid peasants' houses - and on the tip of the peasants themselves, who for some reason did not appreciate the order of Stalin, nor the little fool with the Molotov cocktail, who decided to destroy all their chances of surviving the winter. Caught and hung. And the villagers stood by the gallows, looked and sighed, watching as the young girl in their eyes turns into a bronze idol.

People whose fault it was that they did not have time or did not want to escape to the rear in the wake of the cheerfully fleeing Soviet army sentenced a man from the Kremlin to a fierce, frosty fiery death. The order should have been fly-by-night, zombie-kamikaze, the cost of living was and was close to zero. Part of the peasants who fired arsonists of their own homes were shot by the KGB in 1945.

It is a great sin not to burn your house in the name of Joseph Vissarionovich's light.
