The Administrative Court of Appeal of Kiev on June 14 recognized as illegal and inoperative the item the first Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1035, which limited the movement of things across the administrative border with the Crimea.
According to the Crimea. Realist lawyer of the Helsinki Human Rights Union Maxim Timochko, now Crimeans will be able to transport personal belongings from the territory of the annexed Crimea to mainland Ukraine without any restrictions.
"It was the first item that prohibited Crimeans from carrying personal belongings, except for the list established by Article 370 of the Customs Code. We appealed that this decree violates the rights of Crimeans, the right of ownership, "commented Timochko.
Human rights defenders of the Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights won recognition of the first clause in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1035, which prohibits the removal of personal belongings from the annexed Crimea.
The decision of the Kiev District Administrative Court on the suit to recognize the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1035 was published illegally on March 20 on the website of the "Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions". According to the lawyer of the public reception on Crimean issues of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union Anna Rossomakhina, this ruling excludes the possibility of transporting any belongings of Crimeans.
