As noted, the citizens of the European Union and the Schengen zone crossed 195,000 citizens of Ukraine. However, the right to travel without visas was used by only 4,478 inhabitants of our country.

According to the report, 3,470 citizens crossed the border in the western sector at road and rail border crossings. At the same time, other tourists used airport services.

By the way, since the beginning of the visa-free regime, seven refusals to go abroad. In particular, four of which were in connection with the violation of the immigration laws of the EU country during the previous stay.

Three of our compatriots were returned because of the insufficiency of the level of financial security and the lack of return tickets.

Recall, as reported by "URA-Inform", earlier near the Presidential Administration in Kiev, the ceremony of symbolic start of the visa-free timer. Thus, the head of the EU Delegation in Ukraine, Hug Mingarelli, believes that granting Ukraine a visa-free regime will deepen its integration into the countries of the European Union.
