This is stated in the current report of OHCHR on human rights in Ukraine.

It is reported that 12 people who were detained before the conflict began were transferred to the Ukrainian part of Ukraine as a result of direct negotiations between the Ombudsman of Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

It is noted that such a decision was also made as a result of violations of the rights to physical and mental integrity of prisoners that they suffered in the prisons of Crimea.

This information is documented by the UN monitoring mission on human rights.

Earlier, URA-Inform reported that according to UN information, ten thousand citizens were killed during the conflict in Donbass.
