As of noon on Monday, June 12, 2302 citizens of Ukraine used the visa-free regime with the countries of the European Union.

This was reported by the Speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan on his Facebook page.

"As of 12. 00 border with EU countries on biometric passports crossed 15,195 Ukrainian citizens. 2302 of them are those who took advantage of the opportunities for visa-free travel: they crossed the border with only a biometric passport, "he wrote.

Slobodyan also specified that 24% of this number are passengers of aviation checkpoints, the rest followed through automobile and railway crossings.

At the same time, according to him, four citizens of Ukraine were denied crossing the border into the EU.

"Four citizens of Ukraine refused to cross the border in the EU because of the exceeding of the period of stay in the territory of the country of the previous entry," said Slobodyan.
