June 10 in Kamchatka intensified two volcanoes - Klyuchevskaya Sopka and Shiveluch.

The northernmost active volcano of the Shiveluch Peninsula, whose height is 3283 meters, threw out two ash posts at a height of about 6 and 8 kilometers. Ashes blown to the southwest to 15 kilometers, it did not reach settlements. One of the highest active volcanoes of Eurasia, Klyuchevskaya Sopka, whose height is 4750 meters, threw a column of ash to a height of 7 kilometers. The ash from this volcano spread to the village of Atlasovo, but did not reach, was dispersed in the atmosphere.

However, in connection with the possible passage of ash plumes over Milkovskiy, Ust-Bolsheretsky, Elizovsky districts, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vilyuchinsky urban districts of the peninsula, air communication with the peninsula was stopped in order to avoid getting airplanes into ash clouds. Two flights were transferred from Sheremetyev (SU 1730) and from Vnukovo (PL 6385). The fact is that volcanic ash is a piece of volcanic glass, its entry into the engine of an airplane will drive the engine out of action.

Elizovo Airport operates in normal mode. The restriction of air traffic is valid until June 11 17:20 in Kamchatka time.
