Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Feldman Ecopark resumed hippotherapy classes. The project "Hippotherapy for All" is being implemented in Feldman Ecopark for more than a year.

The head of the psychological service of the Center, Tatyana Aliyeva, said that the classes are conducted for various children with special needs. For children with communication disabilities, speech activity delay and autistic diseases, an intensive course takes place, designed for two weeks.

"If the diseases relate to the physical spectrum, the emphasis is on the length of the course. Such programs are designed for one or two months ", - summed up Tatiana Alieva.

Seven-year-old Nikita, who suffers from autism, became the first participant of this season. He has been dealing with horses for the third year already.. The boy's mother told me that during this time there have been significant changes. "Classes bring a lot of positive emotions. For an autistic child it is a big push, because such children are not emotional, they experience everything in themselves, "she said..

At the arena with a horse, Nikita fusses. Workers of the Center help the boy to climb into the saddle, and his face spreads into a smile. A few minutes later, the chirping of birds is diluted by the sonorous laughter of children.

Nikita's mother said that three years ago he was afraid even to approach the horse, and now he is confidently sitting in the saddle. Nikita likes classes, he prepares for them, and then remembers them.

He intends to continue to attend classes on hippotherapy. Native boys are convinced that animals are a bridge that helps autistic children find a connection with the outside world.

"Medication treatment brings comfort not to an autistic child, but to the people who surround it. Child is comfortable, but it remains the same. And animals really help, "- stressed Nikita's mother.

Recall that the Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation began work in 2013.

Professional psychologists and psychotherapists provide comprehensive psychological and social assistance to children and adolescents with mental disorders, deviant behavior, as well as families who find themselves in difficult life situations, internally displaced persons from the ATU zone, defenders of Ukraine and their relatives. Among the projects implemented by the Center are "Hippotherapy for All", "Let's Take the Children from the Streets", "The War through the Eyes of Children", "Happy Child", "Learning to Speak at Ecopark", "Bibliotherapy" and others.
