When war came to Gorlovka, Ira was eight months pregnant. Her house was destroyed by shells, and the woman with her husband and daughter were forced to move to Svyatogorsk. Here, the family rented an apartment and began to settle, they had a second child. And suddenly, in October of last year, Ira was diagnosed with a terrible diagnosis - breast cancer of the fourth stage with metastases to the lungs and bones.

- Up to two years I breastfed, - says Ira. - Before moving, she worked as a nurse in the Gorlovka Infantile Infectious Diseases Hospital and was sure that the nursing mother was insured against breast cancer. Unfortunately, this stereotype turned out to be false. I had a lot of milk, and when I found a tightness in my chest, I thought it was mastitis, maybe mastopathy. I decided that everything will resolve itself, and if not, I will supplement it and go to find out what it is. And then suddenly the diagnosis - breast cancer stage 4. At that moment everything collapsed, my whole world turned over. It was even more terrible than the war. Shock, panic, despair. Since that day life has become black and white.

Straw for Irya A woman was admitted to the Kramatorsk Cancer Center for treatment, she underwent three courses of chemotherapy, and she was advised to go to the hospital of Israeli oncology "Lisod" to find a second opinion on the treatment regimen. In the "Lisod", a consultation of doctors prescribed medications for her - docetaxel, herceptin, pertuzumab and bondronate. And to Irina's question, what are her chances, she was told: "Are treated - and will live".

These words became a straw for Ira, for which she seized. With faith in the best she returned to be treated in Kramatorsk, but when she found out how much the prescription drugs cost, she was shocked. Every three weeks for one herceptin alone you need to find 40 thousand hryvnia! It turned out that in Russia, where Ira's uncle lives, whose wife also suffered oncology, this drug can be purchased at half the cost. My uncle agreed to help - buy and transfer medicine for Ira to Ukraine. The woman began to look for an outlet, told her relatives and friends about her illness in social networks. Ira had to refuse treatment with pertuzumab - the drug was even more expensive than herceptin.

Financial question - At first my friends helped me, but it was one-time help, - Irina tells.. - My husband and I have appealed to them yet, but they have their own families, and salaries are small, and with work it is difficult, like everyone else. The first dose of herceptin I bought with the help of friends, the second with my own money, the relatives helped me to buy the third, and our reserves were exhausted by this - we can take more money from nowhere. We do not have our own housing - the house in Gorlovka is destroyed, we rent an apartment. And I realized that we must look for a way out, grab for life at any cost. I am very much afraid of the idea that my girls can remain orphans. When I started to be treated and lost hair and eyebrows, I experienced another shock, but these are trifles, compared to the prospect of losing a life. My husband supports me, says that everything will be fine, but I'm very scared to die. When there is money, it's easier to fight, but we do not have any. Do you think I will live?.

To date, Ira has undergone 9 courses of chemotherapy with docetaxel and 3 courses targeted herceptin. The time of the next examination and a dropper is approaching, it is necessary to go to Kiev for a computer tomography.

- I need to do a survey with a qualitative description and get new recommendations. After that I will continue treatment in Kramatorsk. It remains to find money for a trip to Kiev and a computer tomography, and then to the next herceptin, - says a woman.

Ira appealed to various funds, but everywhere she was refused. Recently, the hope for Akhmetov's fund also melted - the woman was officially told that they only help sick children. Can not collect anything in Facebook.

- As migrants we receive targeted help 2500 hryvnia, and for treatment you need more than 20 thousand per month, provided that you can continue to get herceptin from Russia. The husband in Gorlovka worked as a miner, but here he takes up any work that he can find. Promise that the desired targeted drug will appear on provision in our public hospitals. I'd like to believe in it, but so far it has not been and is not. Who should work to overpower the financially targeted therapy? I do not understand this. We have already lost all property when we fled from the exploding shells, even no photographs of the family, and the attitude towards the migrants is suspicious. And now it is also a disease, and an expensive treatment, and there is nowhere to go back, and there is no work to be found - this is a terrible dream of some sort! - does not hold and begins to cry woman.

Irina's new hope is 36 years old recently. Her oldest daughter is 13, she goes to Svyatogorsk to school and is engaged in dancing. With the younger Ira sits at home, she will be three years old in September. Recently, the woman found in Facebook group mutual aid oncology and met there with other people who are or have already been treated. It turned out that some of them managed to collect large sums and survive. These women support in Ira faith that the world is not without good people, and that she too will manage to find money and be cured.

- I have a spirit of war, I really want to live, but sometimes I'm horrified that it will not work, and I start crying, hiding, so that my children can not see. All my thoughts are about finding money for the next dose of herceptin. Honestly, I'm not sure that someone will respond, will want to help us, because there are so many grief around and so much deception. But I will not give up. I have two children, they need a mom. I ask everyone who reads this: please help me! Even ten, twenty hryvnia for me are valuable, every kopeck I'm happy with.

It's a shame to ask, it's difficult to tune in, but what remains to be done, when you have children and at stake - your life? Thank you in advance and a deep bow to everyone who responds to my request. I wish you happiness, and I never wish your families to hear a diagnosis: cancer.

I can help Irina Rubel by transferring money to the card. You can also contact her via Facebook and send the medication - you need herceptin and bondronate.
