Sverdlovsk Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office conducted a review of compliance with water legislation in the activity of the scandalously known municipal unitary enterprise "New Technologies" of the Beloyarskiy urban district. It is established that the MUP operates a complex of municipal treatment facilities and discharges domestic sewage into the Pyshma River.

At the same time, in violation of current legislation MUP "New Technologies" allows the discharge of pollutants with sewage into the river in the absence of a decision to provide a water body for use, as well as permits to discharge pollutants into the environment.

The degree of wastewater treatment at the request of the prosecutor's office was assessed by the laboratory of the Sverdlovsk regional state unitary enterprise "Center for Environmental Monitoring and Control". The results of the studies showed that the permissible concentration for the following pollutants has been exceeded: by iron - 5.7 times, phosphate ions - 41.5 times, nitrite ions - 93.7 times.

In addition to the specified verification, it was established that the enterprise discharged waste water and during 2016. However, the calculation of payment for the negative impact on the environment in 2016 was not made, payments were not made.

Based on the results of the audit of the legal entity and deputy director of the municipal enterprise, cases were brought about the administrative violation provided for in article. 6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (unauthorized occupation of a water body), h. 1 st. 14 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of water use when discharging sewage into water bodies), h. Art.. 13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of requirements for the protection of water bodies, which may lead to their pollution, clogging), art.. 41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-payment in due time of payment for negative impact on the environment), the head of the enterprise was introduced with the idea of ??

eliminating violations.

In addition, the prosecutor's office in the Beloyarskiy city court filed a statement of claim on imposing a duty on the MUP "New Technologies" and the administration of the Beloyarskiy urban district to ensure the normative degree of wastewater treatment.

The results of consideration of the acts of the prosecutor's response and the actual elimination of violations of environmental legislation are under the control of the prosecutor's office.
