Both the Ukrainian army and the Russian-occupation forces have losses in the Donbas, but militants are losing many more people.

The well-known volunteer Roman Donik told the Apostrophe about this.

"We are in a tough position war. Comes to us, and to them. We try not to violate the Minsk Agreements as much as possible, but they give an answer if necessary. There are losses on both sides. The other side has more of them, "said the volunteer.

This is explained, in addition to the increased professionalism of the APU in that the first and second lines were left by the RF military personnel who were forbidden to "shine" after Ukraine filed a lawsuit with the Hague Tribunal,.

He also urged not to believe the victorious reports of volunteers on the significant progress of the ATU forces.

"If everything that the volunteers are saying about progress was true, I think we would have already stood somewhere near Moscow. In reality, everyone was entrenched there, and it's simply impossible to just go one kilometer forward - it's unrealistic, "said Donik.

In addition, he said, the problem is the nationalization and closure of Ukrainian enterprises in certain regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which provokes unemployment among the local population and pushes them into the ranks of militants.

"Plus mines are flooded. The economy is declining. People are losing their jobs. And sooner or later these people will go to the trenches. Because they need to somehow survive ... ", complains the volunteer.
