The governments of the countries of the European Union and the European Parliament are preparing an extensive list of issues for which all persons coming to the EU will have to answer in the future.
This is reported by the Austrian edition of Die Presse.
Since 2020, all citizens of third countries coming to the EU will have to fill out an online form on the basis of a questionnaire in the US.
- And the list of issues will be so extensive that it will hardly suffice to allocate ten minutes for filling,.
As stated in the European Council document, "such control is aimed at filtering out individuals who pose a risk to the safety or health of European citizens, as well as those who wish to illegally enter the EU".
The form will include not only ordinary questions.
- If someone has a serious illness, he will have to answer additional questions. Also, foreigners will be interviewed for location in combat zones, additional details and plans for return to their homeland, the article says,.

The new European Travel Information and Authorization System will operate according to the same scheme as the US ESTA: travelers will have to complete the questionnaire before arriving in the EU.
The received information about the person's personal data, his place of residence, contact data and questions about probable risks will be checked against the data already available in the computer, and in most cases - the European Commission calls the figure of 95% - the decision will be taken immediately. The remaining 5% will be checked more carefully, and if, after an intensive interview, it is considered that a person will pose a risk, he may be refused entry to the European Union.
