On Wednesday, June 7, the economic subgroup of the Tripartite Contact Group was able to agree on payment for water consumed in certain districts of Lugansk region. The militants will partially pay their debts. This was after today's meeting on its page in Facebook, said spokesman of the representative of Ukraine in the TKG Leonid Kuchma Daria Olifer.

According to her, today we managed to agree on this issue.

At the same time, she stressed that the main issue at the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group was security, which is the key to solving all the other components of the Minsk agreements - lasting peace, cessation of violations by the militants of the commitments undertaken in the framework of the Minsk agreements, the withdrawal of heavy weapons and Russian military formations from the territory of Ukraine.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on Wednesday, June 7, in Minsk, the next meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in the Donbass. The meeting will be attended by all four sub-working groups. The parties today intend to agree on the date of the preliminary exchange of the detained people.
