The Dnieper in 2017 will be the first Ukrainian city to implement a pilot project on infection control in health facilities.

In 2017, a large-scale meeting of doctors moved from the capital to the Dnieper. Among the conference participants are leading Ukrainian and foreign scientists and practitioners.

Experts point out that more attention should be given to infectious safety, since it is about the life and health of patients. Now in the medical institutions there are many bacteria resistant to the majority of antibiotics. This problem affects not only in Ukraine, but all over the world.

In our country, there is no official statistics, but international practice shows that in Europe, 10-12% of patients suffer from the problem of infections within medical institutions.
