The proposed change in the health system will lead to a significant improvement in the quality of patient care.
This was stated in the commentary to the "Observer" by the public human rights activist, head of the coordinating council of the All-Ukrainian network of people living with HIV / AIDS, Dmitry Sherembey.
"Every citizen of Ukraine will receive a list of guaranteed services, tablets and diagnostics, which he guarantees the state. The principle of new financing will be introduced, when, in fact, the state will pay for the services rendered, rather than the maintenance of buildings, "he said..
According to him, every citizen of Ukraine will have the right to choose a doctor for himself and enter into a service contract with him.
"If a person understands that this is an unqualified doctor, he can change this doctor at any time. The doctor, too, comes out of this humiliating situation, in which he was always. He will be compensated for our taxes at least 20 thousand hryvnia per month. This is more than a decent salary for a doctor.
Thus, we expect quality services, "- added a public figure.
Also, Sherembey said that in Ukraine will introduce electronic document management, and the entire health care system will become transparent.
"These seem to be simple changes, but this will totally change the health care system in Ukraine," he concluded..
As reported by the "Observer", most Ukrainians do not seek medical help when faced with a disease.
