Fourth year I'm not celebrating Journalist's Day. This is not a tribute to fashion, not a denial of certain dates. Just War. And yet I am grateful for the congratulations and kind words. If it was possible to help at least one person, then all is not in vain.
The fourth madly full year. During this time, important (and terrible) events took place that changed the lives of millions. Journalists are no exception. Many colleagues froze and climbed into the heat. Became a catastrophically little sleep. Learned to feel comfortable in bulletproof vests and helmets. Distinguish BTR from BRDM. Do not confuse fireworks with the sounds of shooting. Learned to find and, damn, lose.
Last year I wrote a comic post with the appeal "Do not go to journalism!". Today, it has not lost its relevance and I am again ready to subscribe to every word.
Do not go into journalism if you are not ready:.
-do not fall under the schedule, but "when it will turn out";.
-discover at night or early in the morning from the call a la "the world is crumbling";.
- have a non-standardized working day, be in touch (online) 24 hours 7 days a week;.
-to get used to the fact that acquaintances and not very, if not strangers, beg / require help - considering that you are omnipotent (tyzhzhinalist!), And their case is special;.
-periodically hear pejorative statements about "journalism", "journal. Hah "," mediapiz ". Father "and with a smile" to score "on them;.
Do not get upset at the broken plans, "educate" friends and family: let them not fully understand, but they will accept your "way of life";.
-Do not advertise private life, think about the safety of loved ones;.

- Do not hand over the source of information even under the most powerful pressure;.

-and most importantly: ENJOY this madness. Because this is exactly what you can not live without.
Those who have long been infected with this incurable "virus", with all my heart I wish strength, courage and patience. And, of course, humor:) Break through.
