Two-thirds of Ukrainians (66%) do not intend to leave the country, according to a poll by the Razumkov Center.
Answering a question about the intention to leave Ukraine due to the lack of prospects in the country, 12% said they intend to go on temporary employment and return when the situation in the country improves, 6% - that they intend to leave for permanent residence abroad, even if not It will be possible to find a job in the specialty, and 5% - that they intend to leave, but this is not connected with the lack of prospects.
The higher the educational level of respondents, the higher the proportion of those who intend to go on temporary employment and return when the situation in the country improves (their share increases from 7% among those who have secondary or incomplete secondary education, up to 15% among those who Has a higher education).
As the results of the study show, the intention to leave the country is virtually independent of the forecast of the country's economic situation in the near future. If among those who believe that the economic situation in Ukraine will change for the better in the next 2-3 years, 68% do not intend to leave Ukraine, among those who think that it will change for the worse - as much (68%).
The survey was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from 21 to 26 April 2017, 2018 respondents. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%.
