The feeling that Russia will soon declare war on Ukraine appeared in December 2013 at the very beginning of events on the Maidan.

This was told in an interview with the "Observer" by a veteran of the ATU, Chechen volunteer Amin Okuyev.

"Then I realized that on Maydan the people of Ukraine will win and with the power of Yanukovych will be finished. At that moment, I wanted to come out of the stage and say that Yanukovich and his clique are just puppets, behind which there is a much greater power in the person of Putin. But I was not allowed to speak with this speech and was told that this is not relevant, "said the veteran.

According to Okueva, she repeatedly told her adherents about the approaching war with Russia, but then her words were not taken seriously.

"Considered a certain Cassandra, who predicts trouble. But there is nothing fantastic here. It's just my knowledge of Russia, which I happened to learn before the Ukrainians, "- said the Chechen.

As reported by the "Observer", Okueva spoke about the main obstacle to overthrowing the regime in Russia.
