On Tuesday morning, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court pronounced a verdict on the killing in Severouralsk. A local 22-year-old guy was found guilty on two counts - "killing two persons" and "attempting to kill more than two persons". This is reported by the press service of the SU RAS for the Sverdlovsk region.

The incident occurred on September 8 last year. The guy was staying with his ex-wife and, having put his child to bed, fell asleep himself. The defendant was awakened by a noise from a neighboring apartment, in which a company of two women and a man was drinking.

The guy went to ask them to be quiet, but the conversation flowed into a conflict.

The guy grabbed the knife and hit the man several times, who died on the spot. Then he attacked two women - one of them he also killed on the spot, the second managed to escape with serious injuries. The doctors managed to save her. The next day the criminal was detained. Also, the police managed to find a knife that the guy threw into the river.

Sverdlovsk Regional Court sentenced the intruder to 18 years in prison in a strict regime colony.
