Law enforcers together with employees of the Prosecutor's Office conducted a number of searches in one of the households in the village of Obarov. There were found stones of amber raw material weighing 113 kilograms.

This is stated in the message of the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.

According to the report, the police opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Acquisition, receipt, storage or sale of property obtained by criminal means. Now the cost of seized amber stones is set.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in the Rivne region, the prosecutor's office together with the police exposed a group of people who organized an illegal scheme of mining amber. During the search they seized almost half a ton of sun stone.
