At the turn of 2003-2004, we almost lost our country. Ukraine was then split ideologically into two parts. Beating on the innermost. Language, religion, history, traditions, heroes. The war of monuments and street names obscured all reason. Politicians did their best to push people to the forehead, incite hatred, anger and aggression in them. We also remember about the "three varieties of Ukrainians" and other humanitarian abominations thrown into the consciousness of society only in order to come to power. And for this they needed their own electorate. By activating the internal protest "against", you can combine "for". And it is desirable to put all this on the ideological rails in the patriotic wrapper. And no one thought that at the same time the unity of the state and the unity of the nation are being destroyed ... Only in the last few years, including "thanks to" the annexation of Crimea and Russian aggression in the Donbass, Ukraine managed to unite. Including, in the humanitarian and ideological aspects. This fragile construction was held solely on the conscious aspiration to protect the country from the enemy. The external factor always alleviates the acute angles of internal contradictions. But the soil for mental and ideological differences in our country really is. Regional characteristics are too pronounced. Everyone has his own views, his own convictions and his own truth. Nevertheless, slippery and explosive topics were not raised, disagreements were leveled by common challenges, and the humanitarian divergence gradually turned into a single humanitarian space of Ukraine.

It would seem that we are a step away from fundamental unity. Cultural, social and humanitarian. The Ukrainian language is gradually becoming fashionable, and the Ukrainian song and Ukrainian literature are reviving their glorious traditions. All this time, no one banned or forced anything. There was a natural evolutionary process. The society calmed down, and the process of forming a single political nation. But ... Obviously, we were again on the threshold of some new political experiments, in the form of new elections. Obviously, the current political elite once again decided to compete for "its" electorate. And their methods remained the same. It is necessary to destroy this "blessed" unity, playing on pseudo-patriotic feelings. Moreover, instead of decommunization, they decided to fight dissent. Moreover, it is communist and frankly Soviet methods. Prohibitions, orders, quotas, a new historical truth and a new ideological doctrine. And since the external enemy is designated, they decided to create a separate from him, "their" humanitarian space. Without the Russian language and cinema, literature and the celebration of the Victory Day. In Ukrainian, in general. Without regard for their citizens who have different views on life and completely different values.

And it started. Literally for several months the social temperature in society began to rise to critical levels. Hatred, mutual reproaches and mistrust began to return to our lives again. And of course, the division into "We" and "They" began to remind us of past "humanitarian repressions".

In addition, he calls on everyone to make the figure of Bandera the unifying symbol for the country. Not bad, right? In my opinion, this is a "patriotic" overdose. Can you imagine how all these "delights" are perceived in society? Especially, in the South and, still remaining, the East of our country. Can you imagine what are the moods in Odessa, Dnipro, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Nikolayev?.

A reasonable question arises. For what it is necessary to destroy with their own hands what was created with such difficulty and at such a price? Is the state not aware of the risks and does not understand all the flaws and shortsightedness of such decisions? Why create dividing lines in the heads of our citizens and use national-patriotic rhetoric for a split within the country?.

It seems to me that the answer to all these questions is one. The authorities are fully aware of and are taking these steps consciously, purposefully and consistently. Clearly arranging everything in chronological order. The goal is one - power and resources. At any cost. Soon elections will take place, and there are no special achievements either in the economy or in the social sphere. Therefore, we need to split the electorate on the basis of humanitarian disagreements and "stake out" our "own" electoral niches. We remember the technology "We" and "They". This is a flawed and dangerous ideology, but our pseudo-elite will not stop at anything. They generally do not think in such categories. Moreover, no one is embarrassed that as a result of such social experiments, it may not become a single state. Centrifugal processes can begin spontaneously, regardless of the real capabilities of the same power and tools to contain such trends.

Well, and besides, to break through the knee millions of people for their values ??and ideological beliefs, not trying to offer an alternative, is criminal and disgusting. And it's pointless.

The reverse effect will necessarily work. The elevation of some over others is a demonstration of their own state impotence, by manifesting radical, highly nationalist views, counting on the collection of an electoral crop.
