As a result of the incident, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured. As the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region, on the Victory Quay between the two men and the victim a conflict arose. After a verbal squabble, one of the attackers pulled a pistol from his bag and shot twice in the direction of the victim, and then both intruders disappeared into an unknown direction.

The ambulance took the wounded to the hospital with a penetrating chest injury and a non-penetrating back injury.

According to law enforcers, two 24-year-old men were already installed and detained, who had seized two special means of traumatic action and cartridges to them. Now one of them was given a written notification of suspicion of committing a crime.

The police opened a criminal case on the fact of shooting under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Intentional serious bodily harm.
