As explained by the Prosecutor General on Sunday, May 28, in an interview with a journalist of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, the special services were preparing for an operation to detain former tax officials for more than six months, seven to eight months. It was necessary to gather evidence, not only who is where and even not only who and what stole, but how much.

Examinations and conclusions of the institutes were carried out, and then helicopters flew, "Lutsenko explained, adding that this operation will have further actions.

Perhaps even more ambitious than with respect to these figures, - assured Lutsenko.

He also noted that despite the fact that he was constantly criticized for the cost of transporting the detainees by helicopter, but it was not so expensive, since they cost less than one tenth of a percent of the property seized and, in fact, for the police and there are helicopters. The helicopter will not stand in the parking lot for a long time, - promised Lutsenko.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Lutsenko assured that the decision of the Pechersk Court of the city of Kiev in the case of former tax officials will be appealed.
