This is reported by Kommersant.

More than two and a half thousand people took part in the rally. Thus, the protest action became the most mass in the city after the spring of 2014. Its participants demanded to cancel the draft general plan of Sevastopol and develop a new document involving Sevastopol specialists. In the resolution of the meeting they appealed to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the State Duma and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that the draft general plan of Sevastopol was developed by the Research Institute of the General Plan of Moscow, commissioned by the "government" of the city. The main claims to the document caused a change in the general layout of the functional purpose of the land. The plots on which houses, dachas and garages are currently located are indicated in the general plan as a territory for multi-apartment buildings, lands of the Ministry of Defense of Russia or nature protection territories.

On the eve of the rally, the "temporarily acting governor" of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov recorded a video message to the citizens. He promised to take into account their wishes, sounded during the public discussions of the general plan.

"No rallies will improve the general plan," he said..
