The house manager chastises the main character for his semilegal experiments and says something about the need for blessing "from above". In response, Shurik pronounces the sacramental phrase: "When you say, Ivan Vasilyevich, you get the impression that you are delirious ...".
Pan Vyatrovich, when I hear WHAT you say recently, I also have the impression that you are delirious. But you do not just say. You deliberately plant alien and dangerous theses in our society. I will say right away that I am not an ethnic Ukrainian, although I consider myself a patriot of my state. And yet (oh, horror!) I am a Russian-speaking citizen of Ukraine. To make it clear to you, I'll say it simply: I'm not a "quilted jacket" or "povyvatnik". I, most likely, an adequate person. I appreciate my "soviet" education and my family traditions. And I'm not going to change my values ??and beliefs. Moreover, I have family ties in Russia, Israel and the United States, but I will not interrupt them. You are encouraging me to this? And I will not refuse them, even if they live in Muscovy. At least because I do not consider them enemies for my family and for our country. And you will not be able to convince me in reverse.
By the way, I also do not intend to eradicate my past, as you persistently recommend to us. Or do you advise. I consider this a crime against my ancestors and my story. Remember, Pan is a newly-born ideologue, every single person, every city and every territory has its own biography and history. And this story is not always homogeneous. And the past is not always unambiguous. But knowing your past, it's already a pledge not to repeat many mistakes. And therefore, NOTHING should be eliminated. His, the past, one must remember, one can condemn and draw conclusions. But not to eradicate. And I will not let you break my personal gene memory. And do not tell me about ideological wars for self-determination or accuse me of "complicity with the enemy". These are all the usual manipulations. Eradicating in memory its past, the state has no future. This is the law of the universe. Although, what am I talking about? To your formula of Ukraine this is hardly suitable.
In addition, Pan Vyatrovich, I will tell you in secret that all my relatives do not welcome the fact that Bandera should become our unifying symbol in yours. Many of my close relatives and friends are "circumcised", you know, but because they are not comfortable with Bandera somehow ... Different are our perception of reality. And further. Pan Vyatrovich, decommunization should not turn into a radical patriotic insanity. Do you preach that the symbolism of the SS "Galicia" is not prohibited? So, it can be used on the territory of Ukraine? Well, then, we with you precisely live in different Ukraine. My father passed a "purification in the Ghetto", and therefore our family will not survive these your dogmas. You are simply destroying our common identity with your nationalist delirium. Read the classics. Radical nationalism is dangerous and destructive. Always.
You want to make me renounce my biography and my ideals, my traditions and humanitarian values. Zarubite yourself on the nose, I will not stigmatize Russian literature and the "Cosmonautics Day". Both that and another not in the dungeons of the NKVD came up with. Both do not affect our humanitarian education in any way. Rather, on the contrary, enriches it. Moreover, even the "shovel" Father Frost, whom you want to anathematize, was not thought by Putin. A Snow Maiden does not contradict the creation of a single Ukrainian political nation.
Remember, Pan Vyatrovich, the more you promote such "methods" as the "main" nation of our common country, thereby demonstrating the second-rate and inferiority of all the others, the further you will drive Ukraine into the abyss of nationalist disagreements. Ethnic nationalism, multiplied by the makings of anti-Semitism, leads to catastrophic and destructive processes. This was already in the history of modern Europe. A single humanitarian space and a national idea are not formed on opposition and hatred, on anger and aggression, on pseudoscience and juggling with historical facts.
Therefore, I appeal to you on behalf of many Russian-speaking patriots of Ukraine, Ukrainian "f @ dubanderov" and those who are not ready for the revival of night torchlight processions in Ukraine. Stop, finally, raving and destroying the fragile construction of social unity, which with such difficulty and at such a price was created in our country in recent years. Do not make us walk in slender jingoistic patriotic lines and pronounce the slogans prepared by you. It will not happen. As they say in Odessa, you will not wait. And in Odessa they are able to protect their memory, their history, their traditions and lag behind their priorities. Oh, you believe me. I, and my friends in 2014 demonstrated their patriotism, saving our city for Ukraine. For her future development. But, not for your state model.
And anyway, who authorized you to "create" a new Ukrainian ideological doctrine? Who gave you the right to determine value priorities for all?
You are not a moral authority for us or a spiritual mentor. Your preaching is criminal and dangerous. So, Pan Vyatrovich, my advice to you. Stop your ideologically-subversive activity. And do not try to be holier than the Pope and more cunning than the Rabbi at the same time ... It will not work out.
