This was stated by the Mayor of Paris, Anna Hidalgo, reports the Associated Press.

According to him, the Eiffel Tower turned off its lights earlier after the attacks of jihadists in London, St. Petersburg and Stockholm.

In addition, the tower was extinguished after the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015 and in support of the residents of the Syrian city of Aleppo in December 2016.

Note that as a result of the explosion at a concert in Manchester, 22 people were killed, including an eight-year-old girl.
