Russian special services are trying to activate separatist sentiments in various regions of Ukraine and destabilize the situation with the help of fake territorial communities. Such information was reported by the representative of the Security Service of Ukraine Igor Guskov, whose briefing was broadcast by the Ukrainian Crisis Center.
"They (pseudo-giants, - ed.. ) Artificially created by Russian special services, "he said..
According to Guskov, the first facts of the use in Ukraine of special services of the neighboring state of such "gromad" were noted back in 2007. The activation of separatist cells began in 2012, and now the SBU identifies three main areas.
"We clearly see them, they do not intersect and do not interfere with each other. The first is the territorial bulk of public law. They act under the guise of organizations. The second is pseudo-territorial communities, which are strongly against registering. And the third is "Cossack" organizations:
they are not talked much about, but today more than two hundred have been registered, "he explained..
Earlier, the head of the SBU Vasily Hrytsak said that the hybrid war unleashed by Russia covers all regions of Ukraine and simulates separatist movements.
On May 15, 2017, the Service detained in the south of the country a recruiter of the "sleeping army" who was carrying out orders from Russia Nikolai Dulsky, leader of the radical group of Emperor Zazhdak.
